Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Warren W. Wiersbe.
“It is one of the paradoxes of the Christian life that the more we give, the more we receive; the more we sacrifice, the more God blesses.”
Acts 20:35
New American Standard Bible 1995
35 In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for leading us into joy-filled service and for blessing us beyond comprehension when we do so willingly. Thank You for using us to minister to one another for Your glory and each other’s good. Praise Your church and our call to use the gifts You have given us to build her up. Guide us to those who are strong when we are weak. Teach us to have compassion for others when we are strong in You and they come to us for help when they are weak. Remind us that we can do nothing without You. All glory, honor, and praise to You and only You. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
