Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from John Calvin.

“This restoration does not take place in one moment or one day or one year… In order that believers may reach this goal [the shining image of God], God assigns to them a race of repentance, which they are to run throughout their lives.”

¹⁹ By your endurance you will gain your lives.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for placing us on Your path of righteousness Thank You for the new desires we have that allow us to run this race well for Your name sake and for the promise of eternal peace that fuels us on even the hardest days. Help us when we grow weary and uphold us when our endurance is lacking so we can keep pursuing Your will and growing into the image of Christ. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
