Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from David Powlison.

“We must face ground-in evils if we are to repair what’s wrong with us and help others with what’s wrong with them.”

⁵ Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ⁶ The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. ⁷ The Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for helping us face the evils in our lives and for granting us rebirth into Your heavenly Kingdom. Thank You for hurling our inequities into the sea and covering us with the blood of Christ. Guide us by Your Spirit to help others with a gentle and compassionate nature that would reflect Your glory and create in them a desiring and soft heart as we share the gospel with all willing to hear the good news. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
