Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Timothy Keller.
“What makes a person a Christian is not so much your knowing God but His knowing of you.”
Exodus 33:12
New American Standard Bible
12 Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people!’ But You Yourself have not let me know whom You will send with me. Moreover, You have said, ‘I have known you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.’
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for creating us and knowing us better than we could ever know ourselves. Thank You for calling us to be followers of Christ and praise You for the glorious riches that are hidden in Him. Continue to teach us and show us Your path and may we always and only lean upon You for the wisdom and knowledge to keep us from falling. Help us guard our hearts so our mouths will only speak truth with love so there can be no excuse for those that refuse to hear. Tame our tongues for Your glory. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Taming the tongue is probably the best advice for all of us.
