You Have Been Prayed For… 1 THESSALONIANS 4:3-5

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Timothy Keller.

“The gospel gives us a pair of spectacles through which we can review our lives and see God preparing us and shaping us, even through our own failures and sin, to become vessels of His grace in the world.”

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
New American Standard Bible

For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for fixing our eyes so we can see the truth. Thank You for having such a better purpose and plan for our lives than we could ever come up with on our own without You. Help our desires to grow in doing Your will as we lay down the desires of the flesh. Give us the strength we need and can only find in Jesus to live out our lives as holy and living sacrifices with the hope of our loved ones wanting to join us in a perpetual worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
