You Have Been Prayed For… ROMANS 8:16

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Timothy Keller.

“We do not live God’s way in order to become His children, but out of gratitude that we are already God’s children.”

Romans 8:16
New American Standard Bible

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for calling us to be Your children and for replacing our hearts of stone so we can answer the call. Praise You for softening hearts and opening minds to Your truth which is the only way to salvation and peace. Thank You for using us to speak the Word which has the power to renew minds and open hearts to the life saving faith in Jesus. Being created in Your image is a wonderful gift, but being called into Your family and to receive the full inheritance of sonship is beyond words. Only our living sacrifice comes close to showing our thanks to the One that paid the price for this eternal and irrevocable gift. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. When one reaches the age of 70’s we don’t see ourselves as children. Today’s message made me realize that we are children of God. TY, Matthew
