Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Warren W. Wiersbe.

“The rich young ruler is a warning to people who want a Christian faith that does not change their values or upset their lifestyle. Jesus does not command every seeking sinner to sell everything and give to the poor, but He does put His finger of conviction on any area in our lives about which we are dishonest.”

And after I was instructed, I smote on my thigh;
I was ashamed and also humiliated

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for the feelings of shame that cause us to repent. Thank You for the instruction that leads to life with You. Praise the power of humiliation of our sins and idolatry that causes a change in our hearts. Continue to expose what needs to be dragged into Your glorious light, for Your glory and our good. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
