Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Warren W. Wiersbe.
“It is unfortunate that an overemphasis on gifts has led some Christians to neglect the graces of the Spirit. Building Christian character must take precedence over displaying special abilities.”
Romans 14:19
New Living Translation
19 So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for giving us the Church where we can fellowship in blessed unity with our brothers and sisters. Help us to focus on building our character in the likeness of Christ rather than showing off the gifts and talents You have blessed us with. Remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from You and we are to use them for building up not boasting in ourselves. Father, we thank You that You have heard us. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
