³ For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for putting the desire for Your Word and the truth deep inside of us. Praise the incorruptible power of the Word that has lasted thousands of years. Grant us the boldness needed to share the gospel with all nations and the fear of the Lord to ensure we handle it with the care and respect it is due, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
