4 Listen to the word of the Lord, O sons of Israel,
For the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land,
Because there is no faithfulness or kindness
Or knowledge of God in the land.
2 There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery.
They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for putting the desire for Your Word into our hearts. Praise You for the knowledge we gain about You as we read and study the Scriptures. Help us to trust You completely and increase our faithfulness and kindness for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
