Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from J. Vernon McGee.
“A busy, hurried and exhausted church, leaving the main business undone, is a sorry substitute and cheap counterfeit for a church going forth in the fullness of the Spirit.”
New American Standard Bible
11 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.’
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for growing and protecting Your church in the midst of our busy and hectic lives. Thank You for providing a place for the specific purposes of pouring out our hearts in worship and opening our ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying in Your Word. Help us to keep the first things first, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
