Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from J. Vernon McGee, speaking of the leaders of the United States in his time. Sadly, things have not improved.
“In our day the Bible is ignored and absolutely rejected. They may take an oath by placing their hand upon it, but they neither know nor care to know what is between its covers.”

13 One who despises the word will do badly,
But one who fears the commandment will be rewarded.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for setting our hearts to love Your Word. Thank You for the Scriptures that reveal Yourself to us. Give us a healthy fear of Your commands and a willing spirit to obey them. Remind us to hold everything against the light of Your Word, for our good and Your glory. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
