Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“If we wish to pray with confidence and gladness, then the words of Holy Scripture will have to be the solid basis of our prayer.”

¹¹ For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for being our confidence that leads to gladness. Teach us to pray as we should, according to Your Word and will. Help our unbelief and place a pure heart within us. Thank You for the faithful love and mercy that You show to those that love You. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
