Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Christopher J.H. Wright.

²⁷ And at noon Elijah ridiculed them and said, “Call out with a loud voice, since he is a god; undoubtedly he is attending to business, or is on the way, or is on a journey. Perhaps he is asleep, and will awaken.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless You, for exposing the weakness of these lifeless gods made with human hands or invented in the mind of men. Thank You, for calling us to You and creating us in Your image. Praise Your strength and power that defeated death. Praise the perfect life lived by our Savior Jesus. Thank You for the confidence You have given us by proving Your promises are always yes and amen. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
