Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Paul Barnett.
“If we would be used by God to comfort and encourage, we must be prepared to listen without interruption so as to allow others to express their deepest feelings. While all Christian ministry must be directed ultimately to the mind and the will, it will frequently begin with the emotions.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
New American Standard Bible
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless Your ear that hears our cries. Praise the comfort we receive from You in our afflictions. Help us to hear our brothers and sisters with a compassionate heart. Remind us we are simply to transmit the love You have placed in our hearts to those in need, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
