Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Warren Wiersbe.
“We must not think that failure to reach our ideals is hypocrisy, because no believer lives up to all that he or she knows or has in the Lord. Hypocrisy is deliberate deception, trying to make people think we are more spiritual than we really are.”
Luke 18:11
New American Standard Bible
11 The Pharisee stood and began praying this in regard to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, crooked, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless Your patience towards us. Praise and honor belong to You alone. Help us to look only towards Jesus as our example to follow. Protect us and guard our tongues against speaking anything that would cause harm to others or ourselves. We thank You for the temporary suffering knowing You will make good on Your promise to restore us and make us strong. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
