Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Watchman Nee.
“All temptation is primarily to look within; to take our eyes off the Lord and to take account of appearances.”
Daniel 9:3
New American Standard Bible
3 So I gave my attention to the Lord God, to seek Him by prayer and pleading, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You. Bless You, for Helping us follow the example of prayer and fasting that Daniel was committed to. Praise the work of the Holy Spirit in His ministry to our souls. Thank You for forgiving our trespasses of turning our attention to You and away from ourselves. Faithfully remind us that all we need we have in You. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Timely advice about fasting especially for myself and many others during this time of the year.
Thank you Matthew for your prayers and time you give to so many of us.

2 Cor 5:7 plus Matthew 10:16 would be some scripture I’d like to offer for this one.
And also remind us of watchman Nee parable of Fact, faith, and experience.
If we take account of experience to develop our faith and lead to our facts we will have subjectivism. The only Way is Truth and taking Him as fact to build our faith upon and experience life through this reality.

Well, we do live by faith, not by sight. But we learn by sight, not by faith. And we do need to learn in order to live high quality and fulfilled life.

I like the parable on the one hand, but on the other… I think that Fact, Faith and Experience should walk hand by hand! If Fact is young, full of energy and wants to run in front of everyone there is no doubt Faith and Experience will be lost at some point… If there is a strong and mutually respectful union of three, they can get anywhere they want and no obstacle will ever stop them!
