Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Charles Swindoll.
“Humanity has a stubborn habit of looking to the gift rather than the Giver for fulfillment.”
Isaiah 31:1
New American Standard Bible
31 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help
And rely on horses,
And trust in chariots because they are many
And in horsemen because they are very strong,
But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for being the source of all mercy, lovingkindness, and grace. You alone are Lord. Praise Your patience and long-suffering towards our stubborn and rebellious hearts. Only Your love and grace are powerful enough to change sinners into saints. Help us to keep our eyes locked on You as our mouths profess the glory of God to anyone willing to listen. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
