Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Gerhard Forde.
“Sanctification is “being salvationed,” the new life arising from the catastrophe suffered by the old upon hearing that God alone saves. It is the pure flower that blossoms in the desert, watered by the unconditional grace of God.”
New American Standard Bible
19 I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for breaking the chains of bondage to sin and setting our hearts to be slaves to Christ. Hear our prayers for the needed heart change in our loved ones that refuse to pursue a relationship with You. Give the unsaved a desire so strong for the truth that it will result in finding peace as they place their trust in You. Please help us as well not to grow weary in prayer for our loved ones. Help our unbelief in knowing it is finished, and that the work has already been done. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
