Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Oswald Chambers.

“A person’s inner nature, what he possesses in the inner, spiritual part of his being, determines what he is tempted by on the outside. The temptation fits the true nature of the person being tempted and reveals the possibilities of his nature. Every person actually determines or sets the level of his own temptation, because temptation will come to him in accordance with the level of his controlling, inner nature.”

Matthew 26:41

⁴¹ Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and worships You.  Bless Your life-saving wisdom and instructions for living. Praise the simplicity of Your Word that makes it possible for us to understand and follow. Help us with Your Holy Spirit to be bold in our prayers as we keep watch for the snares and temptations of our deceitful hearts. Thank You for faithfully being all we need. Lead us in understanding that You alone are worthy of our praise. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
