Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from J.I. Packer from 1972.

“It is often said today that theology is stronger than it has ever been, and in terms of academic expertise and the quantity and quality of books published this is probably true; but it is a long time since theology has been so weak and clumsy at its basic task of holding the realities of the gospel .”

⁵ for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Help us to be good stewards of Your word and gospel. Lead us with full conviction as we share the gospel with others, encouraging them and providing them hope in Jesus Christ. We thank You for being bigger than our problems and allowing us to bring them all to You. In Jesus’ name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, amen.
