Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Max Lucado.
“The longer we walk in the garden, the more likely we are to smell like flowers.”
Genesis 27:27
New American Standard Bible
27 So he came close and kissed him; and when he smelled the smell of his garments, he blessed him and said,
“See, the smell of my son
Is like the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed;
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for allowing us to experience You by our various senses throughout the day. Bless You for everything it took to make this relationship with You possible. A relationship so rich in grace that allows us to spend so much time with You that we can actually begin to smell like You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Today’s Genesis 27:27 is a numerical reminder to remind me of the 2 727s I had flown 1 for Eastern airlines and 1 for American airlines. Also today the 5th of August riding the Tri Rail to Miami Airport, there was a 727 park at FLL and another 727 at MIA.
Walking through the terminal and seeing so many pilots in uniform brought back the memories of my career at Eastern and American that spand 44 years all at MIA. Counting the blessings that were bestowed on me from the humble beginnings starting as a cleaner, ramp, stock room to pilot. There are so many things to be thankful for yet I will spend time on the negative issues. I’m sure others might do the same. For them and myself I offer this advice ” concentrate on the windshield and not the rear view mirror “. Captain Frank ✈
