²⁵ The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life. ²⁶ If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for gifting us hearts that desire obedient service, for the strength to carry it out, and the opportunities to exercise our faith in You daily. Protect us as we set our hope on You alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
