Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Jerry Bridges.
“The use of salt as a metaphor to describe our relationship to the world teaches us that Christians are to be a preserving power, an antiseptic, an agent to prevent and retard decay.”
Colossians 4:6
New American Standard Bible
6 Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. We adore Your faithfulness and lovingkindness that finds us each morning we rise. Knowing You were watching over us in our rest keeping evil far from us gives us reason to shout Hallelujah. Bless You, for the salt that prevents decay of our souls and leads us to joyful service in Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
