Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Jerry Bridges.

“Are we willing to call sin “sin” not because it is big or little, but because God’s law forbids it? We cannot categorize sin if we are to live a life of holiness. God will not let us get away with that kind of attitude.”

7 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for placing in out hearts the right and correct attitude towards sin. Thank You for making us aware of how much You hate sin and for how it makes us feel when we trip, stumble, and sadly at times run to sin for comfort. Guide us in our pursuit of the holiness you deserve and we yearn for. In Jesus’ name, amen.
