Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Dag Hammarskjold.

“You cannot play with the animal in you without becoming wholly animal, play with falsehood without forfeiting your right to truth, play with cruelty without losing your sensitivity of mind. He who wants to keep his garden tidy doesn’t reserve a plot for weeds.”

³⁴ Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for our new hearts that help us to know that You are Lord of all. Thank You for the wisdom on how to avoid sin and the conviction for when sin finds us that leads us back to You. Praise Your victory over sin and the love and grace You have shown us that set us free from its control in our lives. May we all walk in the Spirit today and thereby avoid the desires of our flesh. In Jesus’ name, amen.
