Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. It is not always easy but it is always worth it. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.
“Sin at first was the cause of ignorance, but now ignorance is the cause of all sin.”
2 Peter 3:15-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unscrupulous people and lose your own firm commitment,
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for teaching Your servant to rest upon the Scriptures. Praise You for convicting or sending others on your behalf to show the folly of Your servants’ ways. May we never grow weary of thanking You for the wisdom and correction. Even when it is painful we will do our best to count it all joy and rejoice in the love You have for us that never gives up. Help us keep firm our commitment to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
Thanks brother Matthew, I’m praying for you praying for us 😁
