Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.
“Everything that a man leans upon but God, will be a dart that will certainly pierce his heart through and through.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for allowing us to lean on You for all things. We praise and acknowledge You in our lives and give You all the glory. Continue to guide us on straight paths and correct us when we turn from Your ways. Spare us from the pain that results from our playing god and help us to cling to You with all our might. We pray for more opportunities to share with others all that You have shared with us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
