Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.
“As long as there is fuel in our hearts for a temptation, we cannot be secure.”

5 This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind
And makes flesh his strength,
And whose heart turns away from the Lord.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for being our Rock and our Salvation. Praise Your saving power and lovingkindness. Thank You for blessing us with new hearts and wisdom that lead to placing trust in You rather than men. Help us avoid the curse of our flesh by renewing our minds daily and seeking You in all circumstances. Our hope is by walking with Your Spirit we can put the fire of our flesh out and burn only for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
