You Have Been Prayed For… 1 PETER 5:4

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.

“True grace will enable a man to step over the world’s crown, to take up Christ’s cross; to prefer the cross of Christ above the glory of this world.”

1 Peter 5:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for being our Chief Shepherd and the saver of our souls. Your gift of grace overwhelms our hearts and is a salve to our souls. Thank You for the cross and the victory we have in You that leads to new life in Spirit and Truth. Continue to guide us and give us strength to carry the crosses You have set before us so we can receive unfading crowns of glory that we will joyfully cast at Your most precious feet. Your Kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. The world’s bad news – good news story:
    * Bad news- we only have garbage to eat.
    * The good news – we have plenty of garbage.

God’s bad news – good news story:
    * Bad news – you are a sinner.
    * Good news – His grace and mercy has covered all sin through Jesus. We are offered a free ticket to forgiveness through Him.

Love these morning meditations brother. We love you big. Thank you.
