You Have Been Prayed For… ROMANS 7:17

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.

“Sin is of an encroaching nature; it creeps on the soul by degrees, step by step, till it hath the soul to the very height of sin. ”

Romans 7:17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 But now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for giving us a Helper to assist in the daily combat against the flesh. Praise the power that only You can provide that allows us, in our weakness, to overcome the temptations of sin. Grant us the opportunity to minister to others of the freedom from sin that can only be found in Christ Jesus. It grieves our hearts to see sin creeping upon those souls of our loved ones that suppress the truth for a lie. Please open more hearts, eyes, and ears to the life saving truth of the gospel of grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. Thank you brother. So easy to be snared by the flesh. Yet, how sweet the victory the Spirit is!! Happy Wednesday! May today be a victorious day in the Lord.
