Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.
“Remember this, that your life is short, your duties many, your assistance great, and your reward sure; therefore faint not, hold on and hold up, in ways of well-doing, and heaven shall make amends for all.”
Hebrews 12:5-6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor faint when you are punished by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He punishes every son whom He accepts.”
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for the loving discipline that corrects our wicked ways. We thank You for the attention and watchful eye to ensure we stay on the Holy highway. What a blessing it is to have assistance from Your Holy Spirit and to have a relationship with the Almighty through our Mediator, Jesus Christ. Please never take Your protective love away from those You have called to be followers of the Way. We place all our hope in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
