Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Brooks.

“Sin is darkness, grace is light; sin is hell, grace is heaven; and what madness is it to look more at darkness than at light, more at hell than at heaven.”

Colossians 3:2 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

² Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  We adore Your gifts of grace and light that defeat all sin and darkness. Is anything too powerful for You? We rejoice in that grace that we did not merit for it is our salvation and freedom from the law of sin. Your servant prays that all of Your children will continue to look to You and towards heaven and not at the baited hooks of sin that satan has dressed up with glitter and gold. Continue to minister to us through Your Holy Spirit when we take our eyes off of You and so we can return to the path of righteousness. Help us to shine the Light that dwells in us for all to see You wonderful glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
