You Have Been Prayed For… 1 THESSALONIANS 5:14-15

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“The more we learn to allow others to speak the Word to us, to accept humbly and gratefully even severe reproaches and admonitions, the more free and objective will we be in speaking ourselves.”

1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 We urge you, brothers and sisters, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for sending brothers to minister to Your servant in times of need. Praise You, for giving Your servant a pliable spirit to receive Your Word from the mouths of these other mighty men who are brave enough to speak the truth in love when it would be so much easier to stay quiet or agree with the errors. You are so loving and worthy to be loved. May we never grow weary of doing what is good and pleasing in Your sight. Help us with Your Spirit to continue to be bold enough to admonish with grace when we see our brothers stumble knowing it creates sharper iron and more endurance so we can complete the race ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.
