Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
“Seek God, not happiness – this is the fundamental rule of all meditation. If you seek God alone, you will gain happiness: that is its promise.”
Matthew 6:33 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for being such a wonderfully perfect God, and for giving us, Your creation, a Mediator through which we can come directly into Your presence. May we continue to rejoice in You as we seek to know You more and more. Thank You, for providing us Your wisdom when we pray for it and allowing us to lean on You for all understanding. Praise Your Holy Spirit for teaching us all things which lead us to true peace which surpasses any worldly definition of happiness. May we all find true happiness in You as we seek and serve others for Your honor and glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
