You Have Been Prayed For… 1 THESSALONIANS 2:13

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

“We thank God for giving us brethren who live by His call, by His forgiveness, and His promise.”

1 Thessalonians 2:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

13 For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of mere men, but as what it really is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless You, for the work that is being done by the power of Your Word in our hearts and in our lives. Praise Your rod of correction that blesses us so with the gift of forgiveness and reconciliation. For these are enough reason for our continuous thanksgiving, but coupled with the gift of salvation it leaves Your servant speechless. This itself is yet another gift to be silent and allow the Spirit to take over and pray to You on our behalf. There is so much joy in this changed heart that these prayers hardly suffice to express the gratitude within. May they at least prompt the eyes that read and the ears that hear them be drawn back to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
