Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
“It is easily forgotten that the fellowship of Christian brethren is a gift of grace, a gift of the Kingdom of God that any day may be taken from us, that the time that still separates us from utter loneliness may be brief indeed.”
2 Corinthians 13:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for giving us the gift of Your heavenly Kingdom in our daily lives by the means of community with Your adopted sons and daughters. The grace of that gift is an overwhelming source of joy and contentment. It provides such a rich opportunity to serve and to be served by the very works of Jesus’ love coming into and through us. Your servant prays that we would only see Jesus in one another and that our ‘old men’ we were so in love with before would not even come to our minds. Continue to bless our groups, meetings, and congregations as we practice for what is to come. Maranatha! In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
