Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from C.S. Lewis from his work The Screwtape Letters.
“Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one – the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signpost.”
Galatians 6:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for giving us Your Holy Spirit which allows us to sow in Him and brings us to life eternal. Praise the Truth which keeps us from following those with stiff-necks and bitter hearts into the road to hell. Help us to continue our walk by faith in You that gives us such a firm foundation. And when we stumble or trip, help us with Your righteousness to raise back up and take the next step. Give us the strength to aid our brothers when they are down to look back up to You. May our hearts sing out with rejoicing about the Hope we have placed in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
