Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from C.S. Lewis from his work The Screwtape Letters.

²⁶ If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You.  Bless us Father with loving correction and Holy Spirit conviction when we stray from Your Truth. Help us to avoid hypocrisy in our desired walk with You and lead us to quick and heartfelt repentance and reconciliation when we step out of line. Keep an ever-present and watchful eye on the doorways of our mouths and guard our lips and tongues from causing strife with our brothers. To You alone be the Glory for You alone deliver the grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
