Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from C. S. Lewis.
“For every one pupil who needs to be guarded from a weak excess of sensibility there are three who need to be awakened from the slumber of cold vulgarity.”
Psalm 141:3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 Set a guard, Lord, over my mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises and thanks You. Bless You, for Your always diligent watch over our crafty tongues. Thank You, for awakening us to new life and showing us our vulgar ways and our need for Your to be constantly guarding against it. Help us to speak only with grace and love and serve with humility those who are in need of their awakening and rebirth. Give us all Your ears to hear and Your eyes to see to help correct our earthly senses to be like Your heavenly senses. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
