You Have Been Prayed For… PSALM 32:5

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Herman Veldkamp.

“What distinguishes us from the world is not that we are less wicked but that by the grace of God we have learned to see our wickedness for what it is and that we confess our sins. The church is the only body that confesses sin. Where the confession on sin dies out, the church is no longer church.”

Psalm 32:5 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my guilt;
I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless Your church this day and continue to make possible a place for all to confess wrongdoing and guilt. Praise the only name that can forgive and cover us from such shame and judgment. Your servant knows too well the trappings and wages of sin and humbly repents and looks to the mighty hand of Jesus to cleanse the filth away leaving only righteousness behind.  Your servant acknowledges the sin that blinds the mind and would take us from Your living waters, but through faith, hope, and love, Your servant has all that is required to live in joy and peace. Maranatha! In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
