Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Oswald Chambers.

“We are so nauseatingly serious, so desperately interested in our own character and reputation, we refuse to behave like Christians in the shallow concerns of life.
Make a determination to take no one seriously except God. You may find that the first person you must be the most critical with, as being the greatest fraud you have ever known, is yourself.”

James 4:6 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

⁶ But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for convicting our hearts when our pride clouds our minds from seeing the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Thank You, for the greater grace we so desperately need to overcome the trappings of our self-righteous pride. Your servant is very aware of the need for Your grace and wisdom to overcome this fraudulent behavior and so very thankful for Your unending love.  Please continue to show us the better and more humble way to overcoming these stumbling blocks. In Jesus’ name, amen.
