Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from F. F. Bruce.
“… where divine grace operates, human merit is excluded, and human boasting too.”
Galatians 6:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
14 But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless Your lovingkindess and endless mercies that are by means a result of anything we have done or merited. Praise Your Name, for the divine grace that saves sinners from what is deserved. Thank You, for claiming us as Your very own, giving us hope and joy in an otherwise dark world. So let all of Your children’s mouths boast of the greatness of the Living God and never of ourselves. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
I just love Paul’s letters to the Galatians, and at Ephesus and Philippi .
They are so encouraging, where the tires meet the asphalt In truly walking out our salvation!
