Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Andrew Murray.
“It is in our most unguarded moments that we really show and see what we are. To know the humble man, to know how the humble man behaves, you must follow him in the common course of daily life.”
Romans 13:12-13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let’s rid ourselves of the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let’s behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for allowing us to put on Your armor of light. Thank You, for the full suit of armor that gives us the confidence to continue our charge towards Your open arms. Your servant confesses before You that sin and self-righteousness too often come between us. Help Your servant and all the saints to become more humble in our walks and in our words so we can witness to all the glory of Your saving grace. Please continue the good work You have started until we have become perfected in Christ Jesus, in whose name we pray, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
