Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from F. F. Bruce.
“Men and women of persistent prayer are those who are constantly on the alert, alive to the will of God and the need of the world, and ready to give an account of themselves and their stewardship.”
Luke 21:36 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
36 But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for the strength You provide through Your grace. Thank You, for the replenishing power that comes from joyful prayer and worship of the King of Kings. It is only by Your grace that Your servant can escape the snares and trappings of the evil one, and we know well enough that sin is crouching behind every door waiting to attack. But You, Oh Lord, give us a spirit of boldness to take a knee in the face of troubles and call upon the sweet name of Jesus. While the world looks on with derision, we know You look on us with the joy of a proud parent. For that, we will forever be grateful. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
