You Have Been Prayed For… PROVERBS 29:23

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Andrew Murray.

“When we see that humility is something infinitely deeper than contrition, and accept it as our participation in the life of Jesus, we shall begin to learn that it is our true nobility, and that to prove it in being servants of all is the highest fulfillment of our destiny, as men created in the image of God.

Proverbs 29:23 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

23 A person’s pride will bring him low,
But a humble spirit will obtain honor.

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless You , for allowing us to participate with You, the Lord of Lords, in carrying out Your good purpose. Praise the wisdom that flows from Your mouth that leads us to understanding who You are and what Your will is. May our walks be humble, in imitation of our Savior, resulting in honor for You. We pray You keep pride far from Your children as we know too well the disasters of being puffed up and being interested in revealing our own minds rather than revealing Your words of truth with grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. The portion of your prayer, “allowing us to participate with You”, strikes a chord in my heart. What an honor and privilege it is to serve along side of our living Lord! And to serve with wonderful brothers and sisters! Amazing.

    1. We must never allow anything to interfere with the consecration of our spiritual power. Consecration (being dedicated to God’s service) is our part; sanctification (being set apart from sin and being made holy) is God’s part. We must make a deliberate determination to be interested only in what God is interested. Oswald Chambers 🙌🏼❤️
