Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Andrew Murray.
“Let our one desire and our fervent prayer be, to be humbled with Him and like Him; let us accept gladly whatever can humble us before God or men; this alone is the path to the glory of God.”
Psalm 37:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 Delight yourself in the Lord;
And He will give you the desires of your heart.
Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for being our delight and our peace. Your servant has been tricked once more from turning the gaze from You towards self resulting in a multitude of dysfunction and strife. Your servant prays for humility and correction that would lead back to Your straight path of righteousness. Praise You, for new days and new mercies that allow for us to redirect all our hope, faith, and love towards the source of it all. Be our comfort today as we are sure to face temptations. Remind us that You are our strong tower. In Jesus’ name, amen.
