Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer these lines from Charles Spurgeon.
“… when there is no expectation of a blessing, when the prayer is cold and icy, then nothing is accomplished. He who prays without fervency does not pray at all.”
Psalm 88:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 But I, O Lord, have cried out to You for help,
And in the morning my prayer comes before You.
Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You. Bless You, for setting our hearts ablaze for You. Thank You, for giving Your servant the energy and desire to start each and every morning in worship and prayer to You, giving You all the glory for the mercies that are freshly awaiting us. Turn Your ear to our prayers, and grant us serenity as we wait for Your answer. Forgive Your servant for the times when the worship and prayer fall short of what You deserve. Correct the self-serving prayers that flow from Your servant’s heart and replace them with prayers for humility and service to others for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.
