Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this line from Thomas Oden.

¹⁶ Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

Abba, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for giving the disciples new hearts and faith enough to produce Your fruit in the face of hostility. Faith enough that led to death in this life for eternity with You in heaven. Please Lord, work through us and in us for Your glory and honor. May we obey and walk in Your righteousness giving onlookers no doubt about whom we belong to and prepare our mouths to provide a defense for our faith when asked. In Jesus’ name, amen.
