You Have Been Prayed For… PSALM 56:11

Hallelujah, praise the living God for another day to pray for you all and be used by Him. Today I offer this exchange said to have taken place between Bulstrode Whitelock and a trusted servant.

“Pray , sir, will you give me leave to ask you a question?”

Certainly.”

“Pray, sir, do you not think that God governed the world very well before you came into it?”

“Undoubtedly”

“And pray, sir, do you not think that He will govern it quite as well when you are gone out of it?”

Certainly.”

“Then, sir, pray excuse me, but do you not think you may trust Him to govern it quite as well as you live?”

Psalm 56:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

11 In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your servant praises You.  Bless You, for being trustworthy and gracious to Your children. Thank You, for helping us to grow past fear in our lives by placing our hope upon You. Your servant prays for clear and better thinking that results in all glory coming back to its source. Help us to trust in You and focus on sharing the good news in all circumstances.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

If this prayer blessed you or brought you peace, please share this with someone in need.

  1. Ty Matthew! Good morning! So many times, I feel as though I’m fearful when taking care of a patient. God has given me the talent to do so! I never want to bring harm to anyone. So the verse you use today is always high on my mind! Man can do nothing to me! Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world! 1 John 4. Praise His name!♥️
